The Boerhaavetuin in Voorhout is the Most Beautiful Place in the region. The garden of the former rectory in Voorhout was chosen by a majority of votes, announced jury member and King’s Commissioner in South Holland Jaap Smit at West Wordt Wakker. ‘We think it’s wonderful that the Boerhaavetuin is finally getting the appreciation it deserves’, said a happy Leo van Vliet who nominated the place.
